What We Raise

I work with a wide variety of birds in all shapes, sizes and colors, but I may have a personal bias toward African Greys. Favorites aside, there’s always something new to learn from each different species and they all have unique traits and personalities to love. I’ve even started working with hornbills, soft bill birds like Turacos, and galliforms like African Crown Cranes!

Here is just an example of the always expanding list of exotic birds we have experience and enjoy working with:

  • African Greys (Congo, Timneh)
  • Amazons (Double Yellow Head, Blue Fronted, Yellow Naped)
  • Macaws (Blue & Gold, Blue Throated, Red Fronted, Illiger’s, Catalina, Catablu, Military, Greenwing, Harlequin)
  • Conures (Dusky, Greecheek, Jenday, Nanday, Patagonian, Sun)
  • Eclectus (Red Sided, Solomon Island, Vos)
  • Cockatoos (Citron, Goffin’s, Major Mitchell’s, Sulfur Crested)
  • Turacos (Violet, White Cheeked)
  • Lorries
  • Love Birds
  • Cockatiels
  • Caiques
  • Hornbills (Papuan, Southern Ground)
  • Cranes (African Crowned, Demoiselle)
  • Kingfisher (Roller, Kookaburra)
  • Emu

And every so often we even end up helping raise other critters. Like foxes, owls, turtles, and squirrels.
