Location & Shipping

West Branch Aviary is based in located in the greater Nashville area of Middle Tennessee. We don’t have a public storefront and raise the babies in our own family home. We are happy to meet within a reasonable distance and also have a decade-long proven track record of successful shipments across the country. We’ve even shipped birds as far as Alaska! We know the ins and outs of the entire process, and the cargo agents know us by name.

Pickup & Deliveries

We travel often and can sometimes deliver your bird in person or arrange to meet somewhere in between. We maintain an active network in many states and are within a day’s drive to most of the US, from Texas, to Michigan, to Florida and everywhere in between. Depending on our schedule, we might already have a trip planned in your neighborhood!

Shipping

We ship all our birds through Delta Cargo out of Nashville International Airport (BNA). Navigating the complex International Air Transport Association (IATA) Live Animals Regulations can be daunting, but having shipped so many birds over the years, we’ve got you covered.

We typically offer a $250 flat rate for shipping service, which includes booking the best flight to your nearest major airport, transport and check-in at the cargo office, and a customized pet crate that has been modified to follow international live animal container requirements. Larger birds or multiple birds that require more than one crate may incur additional charges.

Please be aware that we cannot ship outside of the United States, and some of the species we work with are very rare and may have interstate commerce restrictions under the Endangered Species Act. The state of Hawaii has additional quarantine regulations.

Note: We do NOT ship parrot eggs, and any ads suggesting that they do are most certainly a scam.
